First SIMI Lab Publication Outcome

Congratulations to all authors, Jay J. Park, Nehal Doiphode, Xiao Zhang, Lishuo Pan, Rachel Blue, Jianbo Shi, and Vivek Buch for the original article "Developing the surgeon-machine interface: using a novel instance-segmentation framework for intraoperative landmark labelling" published in Frontiers in Surgery on 23rd of October 2023 (https://doi.org/10.3389/fsurg.2023.1259756). This article delineates the backbone work of the computer vision architecture for the use in a Surgeon-Machine Interface (SMI).
